Good morning everyone
Another post for you all today.
This is my second card as Penny Black Saturday challenge's guest designer for May. The challenge this month is masculine; not one of my favourites I have to say but luckily I had some great Penny Black stamps to work with. I decided to make a shaped card using Spellbinder's labels 11 and for a change used green backing papers. Here is my card -
This is my second card as Penny Black Saturday challenge's guest designer for May. The challenge this month is masculine; not one of my favourites I have to say but luckily I had some great Penny Black stamps to work with. I decided to make a shaped card using Spellbinder's labels 11 and for a change used green backing papers. Here is my card -
I have used Penny Black's video boy which I have coloured with Spectrum Noir pens -
- hair - TN7, TN8 and EB8
- skin - FS1, FS3 and TN2
- clothes - LG3, LG4, DG2, GG1, GG2, GG3, GG4, GG5 and IG2
- food - LY1, LY3, JG1, EB1, GT1, GT2, CR8, IG1 and IG2
- floor - EB1 and EB2
- controller - IG7, IG9 and IG10
- sky - IB1
I also used -
- green core'dinations
- white centura pearl (for the card base)
- Forever Friends The Good Life paper pad from Docrafts (an old paper pad)
- Spellbinder's labels 11
- Die'sire Happy Birthday die
- Sara's signature collection Just for Men pop dotty embosssing folder
I embossed the core'dinations with the pop dotty embossing folder and then sanded it back to reveal the core.
I do hope you are able to join in the fun at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Why not pop over to the blog to see what the design team have made.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Hi Lesley! Boy this image is so so my son! I love the PB techie/boy images as they are few and far between and stand out as such original designs. You have framed your gamer with such an interesting and colorful design. I love how you delicately shaded around your gamer on the white piece...that really makes him pop! Great card with lots of fun details! Thanks for playing with our team! ♥ Sue Kment
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous card Lesley - I love the sanded embossing on this one!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for guest designing for us this month - we've loved having you!
