Paper flowers

Hello everyone

Good Monday morning folks and what a beautiful, sunny day it is in my part of the country. I do hope the sun is shining for you too.

Crafter's Companion have launched some brilliant dies just recently for which my bank manager is non too pleased. Today's card features a recent die purchase - Die'sire Edgeables butterfly love.
I made a side stepper card from white centura pearl and then cut the butterflies into the card stock. The tiny butterfly dies also come in the die set.
I used the gorgeous fluttering stamp from LOTV which I stamped onto watercolour card and coloured with Spectrum Noir Aqua blend pencils and Sparkle pens -
  • skin - honeycomb and coral
  • hair - brunette
  • clothes - blueberry, elderberry and ebony
  • butterflies - elderberry, iris and ebony
  • flowers - oregano, elderberry and blueberry
  • wings - stram and crystal clear sparkle pen
  • sky - sky blue
  • grass - oregano
I also used -
  • paper flowers paper pad from First Edition
  • white centura pearl
  • Spellbinder's floral ovals
  • Die'sire edgeables butterfly love
  • LOTV's grungy sentiments
  • lilac seam binding from my stash
  • pearls from my stash
  • milled lavender and tumbled glass distress ink
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today.

  1. Oh my goodness Lesley, that Butterfly edge die is adorable and I could be very tempted, then I look at a cabinet full of another make of dies !

A beautiful card is the soft delicate pinks and then the bolder colours on the image.

Sun's just beginning to peek out from the mist.
