Sparkly Christmas cheer

Hello folks

Well my craft room tidying went according to plan. I have managed to put most things away although I now need some extra storage. Why do I never seem to have enough storage? Also I never need to buy any paper pads ever, EVER again. I just can't resist paper pads, I'm sure it has something to do with the gorgeous smell. My hubby thinks I am very strange especially if I sniff it in the shop!! I will have to be very strong when I go to get my extra storage and not get distracted by the paper pad isle.

Enough of my woes... today I am sharing a card made using the new Christmas Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens -

I have used the super cute Christmas cheer stamp from the Crafter's Companion Nordic Christmas range. I stamped him onto Sheena stamping card and coloured him with the Christmas Sparkle pens -
  • smoked quartz, starry sky, holly, macaroon, spun gold, sterling silver, onyx black, berry and crystal clear
I have also used -
  • white/hint of silver centura pearl (for the card base)
  • old gold centura pearl
  • red core'dinations
  • Die'sire edgeables wishing you a merry Christmas and Reindeer dance
  • Nordic Christmas reindeer forest embossing folder
  • snowflake punch
  • gems from my stash
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Bebunni and Clematis

Hello Folks

Happy Monday everyone. Today I will be relaxing in my craft room. I need to have a bit of tidy up as my room is a tip after several very busy weeks of DT work. I probably won't get very far as I always find something I haven't played with for a while and get distracted but I will attempt not to get distracted.... for a little while anyway.
Today I am sharing some more cards made for the Spectrum Noir Illustrator launch.
For this stepper card I have used Bebunni Rudolph stamp from Crafter's Companion which I stamped onto Neenah card and coloured with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens -

  • bunny - ice grey 2, ice grey 6, dusty pink and flame red
  • clothes - flame red, moonlight, gold, soft brown and emerald
  • antlers - vintage pink, flame red, amber, canary and bright orange
  • ground - blue grey 1, blue grey 3 and black
  • background - duck egg, caribbean and blender

My second card today uses one of my favourite Sheena Douglass stamps -
This A5 card uses A little bit sketchy clematis stamp which I stamped onto Neenah card and coloured with the Illustrator pens -

  • leaves - pale citrus, pear green and moss green
  • flowers - gold, vanilla, amber, raw sienna and dark brown
  • wall - soft brown, natural brown, dark brown and brown grey 2
  • sky - pale mint and duck egg

Right off to tackle that craft room, wish me luck.

Colorista stamps and card blanks

Good morning folks

Today I thought I would show you some new stamps and card blanks from Crafter's Companion. The stamps come in either elemnts or backgrounds and for the two cards I am showing today I have used Elements 1 and Background 1.
Firstly Background 1 -
This is a large stamp (4.1"x 5.8") and fills the front of the new Colorista card blanks (more about those in a while). I have coloured this card with the Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens (the small bullet nib is perfect for colouring those small details) -

  • vintage pink, flame red, amber, gold, bright orange, pale citrus, pear green, pearl blue and black.

My second card uses the Elements 1 stamp set which I have stamped directly onto the card base and masked where necessary.
Once again I have coloured the design with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens -

  • yellow green, salad green, daffodil, sunshine, lilac, hydrangea, pearl blue, denim, baby pink, fruit pink, gold, lavender, amethyst, blossom, cocktail pink and ice grey 2.
The card blanks come with inserts and envelopes which are just perfect if you are just starting out in your crafty journey or you want a card in a hurry.

Enjoy your Sunday.
