Snowy Christmas

 Good morning

Well who remembered that the clocks fell back last night - I didn't so consequently I have gained an extra hour. Plus the sun is shining so I think I will head into the garden today.

Little gingerbread men

 Good morning folks

The first day of my half term break, hooray, and after a very long and difficult half term I am intending to take thing easy this week. I have a very things planned but have mostly left my time unplanned so I can go with the flow. I have a few birthdays and special occasions coming up that I need cards for but otherwise I am free to play with my crafty stash.

A rather grey and dismal day here today. I was hoping to get the grass cut and do a little baking but I overslept so the garden is going to have to wait.

 Good afternoon

How are we all doing? I am glad to be able to have a rest after a very busy working week, I may even squeeze in a little crafty time too. I have some new stamps that I am itching to play with.

For today's card I am back to Christmas and this time I have got inspiration from the wonderful Chloe Endean - 

This card featured on a tutorial on Chloe's blog on 26th August this year I merely changed the colourway.

I love using this reindeer and using the stamps in the set adds even more interest to this lovely die.

A mice day

 Good morning

Ah Friday at last and the end of my scheduling for this week. Today's card is a recent one using stuff I have had in my stash for a while and not used (slap wrists for me) - 

The stamp is a lovely one from Crafter's Companion called have a mice day and comes with a die set to cut out the image. I have coloured this lovely little chap with my Spectrum Noir pens and Triblend pens -

Today's card is the result of some playtime in my little slice of heaven -

I took one of the papers from the paper pad and then added more depth by stamping onto it.

I added the keeping faith stamp in mica which is only visible in certain lights.

Late post from me again and back to Christmas too. It has been a very busy week which has raced by without me crafting or blogging very much so I intend to put that to rights this weekend.
