Demise of 2020

 Good morning

New Year's Eve and finally an end to the year we would all like to forget. It has been a tough one with some very dark clouds along the way but as the old saying goes every cloud and all that. And the silver lining for this year for me has definitely been my crafting. I have always thought that over the years my love of craft has been a blessing but now I know it to be true. So to celebrate this dreadful year here are my crafting highlights  -

Christmas Winnie wishes

 Good morning

Well Christmas Eve has arrived and I find myself with time on my hands. Not the normal hurtling around preparing the meal of the year for my family and friends. Instead a much quieter affair. While I bemoan the loss of my much loved family time the change of pace is necessary to protect those that I love. I do hope you can all enjoy some form of peace and hope this festive season. 

As befitting the time of year here is today's card -

Tropical vibes

Good afternoon folks

Yes, you read the blog title correctly. I thought we would have a few tropical vibes to warm up this damp and dismal day.

This card is one I made for my hubby's birthday -

50th birthday wishes

 Good morning

Yeahhhhhh!!!! Finally we have finished the longest term EVER. A 8 week half term followed by a 7 week term has been a marathon but add Coivd 19 to the mix and it becomes endless. On the plus side none of the classes I work with actually had any cases, either adults or children, so we are very proud of ourselves. 

Now to celebrate Christmas - Covid style.

A summer meadow

 Good afternoon

How are we all? Time is really galloping along now although I am not feeling particularly festive. Work is being affected heavily by Covid which means extra work for those of us who haven't been struck down. So far I am unaffected health wise but the amount of cover I am having to do is amazing. I suppose I can have a break in two weeks!!

Snowflake sparkle

Good morning folks

Sorry for my silence, a return to work plus family commitments have meant my blog has been pushed to the bottom of my To Do list.

More festive sparkle for you today -

I applied the texture paste to the stencil, removed the stencil and then added the glitter onto the whole thing. Once dry I shook off the excess glitter.

I heat embossed the snowflake stamps, then cut out using the die and finally built them up.
