Snow buddies

Good morning folks

What a miserable day - wet and dreary so I am going to spend sometime in my craftroom. I bought some new stamps this week so I think a little colouring is in order.
And speaking of colouring, here is one I coloured earlier -
This DL card was made using Woodware's snow buddies stamp which I coloured with Copic pens -
  • hats and scarves - B41, B45, B39, C00, C1, C3, C5, C7 and C9
  • snowmen - C00 and C1
  • noses - Y17, Y38 and YR68
  • pipe - C7, C9 and C10
  • sky - BG0000, B000 and B00

For this card I also used -
  • blue Adorable Scorable
  • pearls from The Hobby House
Have a good day, thank you for stopping by.

Yet more ......

Good morning

Wow I blinked and the week was gone. I have had a really busy working week so am planning a quiet weekend and looking at the weather forecast, one inside!
Today's card is another anniversary card -
For this card I have used -

  • white hammer card
  • Sara's signature collection - vintage tea party paper pad
  • Die'sire essentials ovals die set
  • Die'sire create-a-card decadent hearts
  • Woodware happy anniversary stamp
  • Sara's signature collection - English country garden floral duo die set
  • pearls from my stash

At first I didn't add the flowers to the front of the card but after looking at the card for a few days I felt it was unbalanced. So I then added the pink flowers.
That's all from me today, enjoy your Friday

Birthday celebrations

Good morning folks

I have been busy in my garden the last few weekends so haven't been crafting very much. The weather here has been glorious so I have tried to make the most of the sunny weekends tackling the jungle that once was my garden. It is looking much better now but still needs a little more tidying.
Today's card is one I made a while ago -
For this card I have used -
  • watercolour and matt black card
  • Sue Wilson double stitched rectangle dies
  • MFT stitched circle STAX
  • Spectrum Noir Harmony inks - grasshopper, honey pot and ocean
  • Woodware stamps - gentleman collage, old postcard and aged to perfection
  • Die'sire celebration words set 1
  • black gems from my stash

That's all from me today, thank you for stopping by.

More wedding anniversray celebrations

Hello folks

How are we? As the weathermen have forecast a sunny weekend I am hopefully going to spend some time in the garden and maybe a little time in my craftroom. I have the usual chores to do but hopefully they can be completed quickly allowing me some free time.
This week my mum and dad also celebrated their wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for them -
 A flat shot.
It is a z fold card which I found difficult to photograph so apologies for the number of photos. This is what I used to make this card -

  • white centura pearl for the card base
  • Hunkydory's floral favourites bloomin bouquet deco-large kit
  • rich gold mirri
  • Floral favourites inserts

Thank you for stopping by today. Now to tackle those pesky chores.

Grunge flower

Good morning

I do hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am trying to have a relaxing one after a hectic first week back - just a few chores and a little crafting. Some colouring I think.
Here is today's card -
I used a new stamp called grunge flower from a company called That's Crafty. I coloured the image with my Copic pens -
  • flower - Y11, Y15, Y19, YR68 and YR07
  • leaf - YG03, YG17 and YG67
I used a white gel pen to added detail.
For the card I also used -
  • That's Crafty leaf stencil
  • Harmony inks - strawbale, lemon tonic and honey pot
  • matt black card
  • yellow core'dinations
  • sequinns from my stash
I inked through the stencil with the Harmony inks to create the background.
The sentiment is from the stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Another 18th birthday

Good morning folks

Ah Friday at last. After a busy week I am looking forward a little R and R and quite a lot of Strictly. First sign of autumn, a little sprinkle of glitter.
Today I am sharing another 18th birthday card made for my daughter -
For this card I used -
  • watercolour card
  • matt black card
  • gold mirri
  • Spectrum Noir Sparkle inks - glace cherry, sleigh bell and mulled wine
  • black soot distress ink
  • Sara's signature collection - just for men urban graffiti stamp set
  • black Versafine
  • Woodware's awsome 18th stamp
  • Spectrim Noir Sparkle pen silver ingot
  • Tonic scalloped edge layering square dies

I coloured the image with the Sparkle inks and edged the image with the silver ingot Sparkle pen.
I created the background with the Sparkle inks and water. I then added a little black soot distress ink to the edges of the cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Silver wedding anniversary

Hello folks

Yes I know I have been a little quiet on the blogging front but life has been far from quiet! Work is back and working with 5 year olds is proving to be very tiring at the moment - roll on the weekend! We have also been celebrating too. My hubby and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary this week and this is the card I made for him.
I made this easel card using -

  • white linen card
  • matt silver card
  • silver glitter card
  • Die'sire create-a-card with love die
  • Die'sire create-a-card floral lace heart
  • Die'sire celebration words set 1 (for the numbers)
  • Die'sire essential heart dies
  • gems from my stash

I cut the heart die from linen card then matt and layered the topper onto silver matt mirri, linen card and silver glitter card.
I used the with love die to create the stopper for my easel card.

That's all from me today, thank you for stopping by.

Route 66

Good morning folks

Well it is the last day of my summer break - not really sure what happened to the last 6 weeks. Just got a few chores to do and then some crafty time.
Today's card was one made for a friend's birthday -
For this card I have used -
  • Hunkydory's manly moments little square book
  • Manly moments card block from Hunkydory
  • brown Adorable Scorable
  • brushed gold mirri card
  • ivory centura pearl (for the card base)
  • Sheena Douglass' time traveller geared up die set
  • black Stazon ink
I used several of the same images from the book to decoupage it.
I cut the cogs from the brushed gold mirri, sanded them with a sanding block and then rubbed a little Stazon onto them.

That's all from me today, thank you for stopping by.
