Not got a lot planned today so I will be spending some time crafting today. My craftroom has been a little neglected in favour of the garden and does need a bit of a tidy up so I think that will be top of the list.

As I said yesterday September is a busy time for wedding anniversary celebrations and this is the card I made for my parents-in-law's special day -

I made my background by stamping randomly with stamps from the summer blooms set with clear embossing powder and then heat embossing.

I added lots of the honeysuckle glitter to my flowers and around the edges of my matts and layers.

Fairy lights

 Hello and a very happy Sunday afternoon

A quick post from me today as I am preparing some bits and pieces for work tomorrow.

This card is the results of a little inky fun. I really enjoy making inky backgrounds using Distress inks or Sparkle inks and I loved this background once it was finished so I made it into a quick card.

For this card I have used - 

• white stamping card
• matt black card
• blue matt mirri
• Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens - iced denim, winter night and chilled ocean
• white gel pen
• black fine liner pen
• Lavinia stamps - Finn and tree hive set
• black Versafine Claire ink

I created the background using the Sparkle inks and pulling out the ink with a water brush. 

To create the moon I used the faux bleach technique.

Love birds

 Good morning folks

Up and about nice and early to make the most of my weekend. A little shopping to do first (not craft related unfortunately) and some housework and then crafty time. I got some new Chloe's Creative cards products this week so looking forward to playing with them.

Last week was my wedding anniversary and this is the card I made for my hubby's card - 

The main image is love birds from Aall & Create which I coloured with my Copic pens -

I also used -

I had fun making the background for this card. Lots of inky mess.

Cogs and gears

 Good morning

A quick post from me this morning as I am heading back into work again. Just a couple of inset days and then we welcome the children back on Thursday. A worrying time for many people but hopefully we have all the safety procedures in place in order to keep everyone safe.

Here is today's card - 

This is a DL card but with the fold down the left hand side. For this card I have used - 

• white centura pearl for the card base
• white stamping card
• matt black card
• Aall & Create stencils - lotza trianglz and totally triangular
• Distress oxides - speckled egg, pine needles and fossilized amber
• Aall & Create stamps - squared digits and gears and elements
• Copic pens - E000, E00, E11, E21, E31, E51, C5, C7, C9, E79, E57, E44 and E49
• white gesso

I had great fun playing with my stamps and stencils and getting into an inky mess. I used the Distress oxides to stamp the main image first, spitzed with water, allowed it to dry and then stamped over the first image with black Versafine Claire.

I then stamped the image again using black Memento ink, coloured them with my Copic pens and then cut out the main elements and attached them onto the base image.
