Good morning

I have been a busy bee so far this week. I spent Wednesday and yesterday moving my eldest son from his uni flat into his (hopefully) working flat. After several (far too many that I lost count) trips across the city all his stuff is in his new flat. It is now upto him to unpack it all tho.
It is back to Christmas for my crafty make today -

  • skin - ivory, eggshell, cream and blush
  • hair - russet, leather, henna and dark brown
  • clothes - cardinal, sangria, burgundy, blossom, rose blush, pink lace, pecan, red brown, ice grey 2 and ice grey 6
  • tree - caramel, goldenrod, raw sienna, oak tree, LG2, LG3, LG4 and IG1
  • wings - rose quartz and crystal clear Sparkle pens
  • sky - sky blue and blue grey 1

  • silver mirri card
  • Tattered Lace ornamental circles die set
  • Tattered Lace ornamental tuck in lace dies
  • silver gems from my stash

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

That's all from me today. I am now going to tackle my laundry pile which seems to have doubled since my son's house move!

More Christmas in July

Good Sunday morning folks

Yes I am back again to show more Christmassy stuff -
I recently purchased some new Tattered Lace dies and this card uses two of them.
I have used -
  • Tattered Lace Glisten in the snow die set
  • Tattered Lace Winter Wonderland die set (for the sentiment)
  • Sheena's stamping card
  • scraps of card, mirri card and paper from my scrap box (I told my hubby that they would come in useful)
  • white linen card
  • Elegant snowfall embossing folder from Sara's Signature collection - Contemporary Christmas collection (from last year)
  • Tonic's red berry Nuvo drops

I cut the die out first with Sheena's stamping card and then paper pieced each area.
The sentiment is from Tattered Lace's Winter Wonderland die set.

That's all from me today. I'll be back tomorrow with something less festive.

A very proud moment

Good morning folks (just)

It is the weekend again, they are coming around very quickly and we seem to be galloping towards the end of term with alarming speed. I have so much to get completed and so little time to do it. I think I need 48 hours in every day at the moment. This will hopefully explain my long absences from my blog, too little time to craft or to post.
This week also saw a very proud moment for me - my son's graduation. He now has a BA hons in Fine Art.
This is the card I made to celebrate this fabulous occasion -
For this card I have used Brainy books stamp from LOTV which I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens -

  • mouse - FS1, FS3, TN1, TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5 and TN7
  • hat - BG9, BG10 and true black
  • sky - IB1
  • ground - BG1 and BG3

I have also used -

  • blue core-dinations
  • Just for men brights paper pad from Crafter's Companion
  • Sweet and simple sentiment stamp set from LOTV
  • Die-namics cross stitched retangle STAX

Well that's all from me today. I hope you enjoy your weekend and hopefully I'll be back soon.

Rustic charm

Good morning folks

Yes I'm back! After a short illness and a very busy week back at work I am back to posting on my blog.
This is a card I made for my hubby to send to his dad on Father's day -
Mr Mojo is still playing hard to get so I used a lovely Hunkydory kit -

  • Rustic Charm relaxing afternoon Deco-large card kit from Hunkydory
  • gold mirri card

This photo shows the depth of the deco-large.

A short but hopefully sweet little post just to dip my toe back into blogging. I will be back soon.
