Good morning folks

Another busy day for me today. I am hoping to fit some crafting in before I have to return to work but that is looking rather unlikely at the moment. I still have uniform to label and school shoes to buy, a job I never enjoy.

A touch of style

Hello folks

I hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend. We had a lovely time celebrating my children's degree, A levels and GCSE results with extended family. I have done a little bit of crafting too, finishing a trio of canvas for my bedroom which I be posting pictures of soon.

Today I am sharing a couple of cards made using a Hunkydory card kit -

Happy Birthday

Good morning folks

These weekends go quick don't they? My summer holiday is flying by; this week I popping into work for a couple of days - a few last minute jobs to get done before the children come back.

Today's card is one I made a while ago but forget to post - 

For this card I have used - 

• black, blue and teal centura pearl
• Die'sire create-a-card happy birthday die
• Sara's signature collection - English country garden grand floral and lazy daisy die sets
• Floral frenzy embossing folder from Crafter's Companion
• pearl from my stash

A very simple card once again, these seem to be all I can produce these days. I do enjoy die cutting and have a lot of dies to play with but I sometimes feel it is cheating a little. I really need to get back into stamping and inking, that's what I call proper crafting.

Step into Christmas

Hello folks

More Christmas for you today - 

For this card I have used - 

• white and platinium centura pearl
• Tattered Lace snowflake shaped card
• Tattered Lace ornamental ovals

The sentiment also comes with the die set.

This is a brilliant die set with lots of embellishments dies which makes up into a fabulous card.

Spun sugar Christmas wishes

Hello again

I am taking a short break from my holiday laundry to write this post. Yesterday I shared a birthday card made using Tattered Lace's spun sugar frame today I thought I would share a Christmas card made using the same die and layout but with a few different embellishment dies - 

For this card I have used - 

• white centura pearl
• printed centura pearl from Crafter Companion
• silver mirri
• Tattered Lace dies - spun sugar frame, merry Christmas die, Christmas flowers and set of holly
• bling fro my stash

 I didn't use the smaller dies in the spun sugar frame set because the sentiment was so big.

 I cut lots of foliage from the different card stock and played with it until I got an arrangement I liked.

As you can see a very different look from yesterday's card but using the same base die.

Good morning folks

Yes I am back. We have been on a trip of a lifetime to Orlando and have had a fabulous time. Didn't see Mickey Mouse but did see Pluto, Belle, Alice, Storm Troopers and many more characters.

Today I am sharing a birthday card I made before my holidays - 

For this card I have used - 

• white, lilac and platinium centura pearl
• green core'dinations
• Tattered Lace dies - spun sugar frame, love is in the air sentiments, delightful ivy and mini dies (flowers) 
• pearls from my stash

I cut the sentiment out twice and then applied a slight drop shadow.

I also cut the ivy die twice and then paper pieced the green ivy on top of the platinium die cut.

That's all from me today, I am off to tackle the post holiday laundry - oh joy!
