C for cows

Good morning

Another week has flown by and it is Friday again. This being so there is a new challenge at Alphabet Challenge and this fortnight our challenge is - 

C for cows

This is my DT card for the challenge - 

I unfortunately had nothing that would be suitable for this challenge so I had to go shopping! What a shame!!!!! I found this lovely stamp and die set from MFT called party animals which I coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens - 

• pony - EB1, EB2, EB3 and DR2
• pig - CR3, CR5, TB3 and GB5
• cow - true black, IG6, CR3, GB5, TB3, DR2 and white gel pen

I have also used - 

• MFT party animals stamps and dies
• scraps of green, blue and red core'dinations
• white linen card
• MFT rolling hills die set

Hello folks

Hump day once again...... I am recovering from accompanying 90 six year olds to Eureka yesterday. I do love my job but sometimes I crave a little less excitement!

Another stash booster for you today - 

I have used - 

• Sheena stamping card
• black and grey core'dinatons
• cool damson, chilled ocean and iced denim Sparkle pens (from Sheena's new set)
• frosted ice Textures embossing folder from Crafter's Companion
• Sheena's A little bit sketchy - smile stamp set
• black pearls from my stash

Once I made my backing card I embossed it and then sanded it back to reveal the white card underneath.

Pretty in pink

Good morning and a very happy Sunday to you all

Today you find me in my craft room hiding from the rain. Luckily yesterday I spent the day in my garden making the most of the sunshine so today I have all my indoor chores to complete. I have been beavering away this morning and just have my ironing to complete now.

I treated myself to a little birthday present recently and here is the card I made with it - 

For my card I have used -

• wooden butterfly
• Hunkydory pink glitter
• pink pearls from my stash

A simple card to make, once again the die does all the work but it does look stunning even if I say so myself.

This little piggy

Good morning

The last day of my Easter break and after a beautiful spring day yesterday we are back to grey skies and rain. That being the case, after a few chores, I'll be spending the afternoon crafting.

Today's cards are a few I made to add to my finished card stock - 

I have used - 

• Hogs stamps and dies from The Greeting Farm
• Spectrum Noir pens - PP1, PP2, PP3, PP4, PP5, EB2, EB3, PL1, PL2, BP2 and BP6
• embossing folders from Do-crafts and Crafter's Companion
• scraps of centura pearl and core'dinations

These are tiny cards (4 inches square) so I was able to use up some of my scraps of card and papers.

I have not added sentiments to these cards but will do so when required.

Well those chores will not do themselves. Enjoy the remains of the weekend.

Just Gorjuss

Hello folks

Today's card is one I made just for the fun of it. I love to colour and have only just been introduced to Gorjuss stamps. I love them, they are great to practice your colouring techniques and are very cute. Perfect for me. I am not 100% happy with the dress but was so pleased with the hair that I couldn't bear to throw it away.

The stamp is called Oops a Daisy which I coloured with a mixture of Spectrum Noir, Illustrator and Copics pens and Spectrum Noir colourblend pencils - 

• skin - E000, E00, FS9, TN2, CR2, 089 and 009
• hair - true black, IG4, IG6, IG10 and 120
• clothes - PL1, BP2, BP6, BP7, 119, BT1, BT3, BT4, BT5, BT7, 055 and 061
• ground - IG2 and IG4
• sky - sky blue

I have also used - 

• pink core'dinations
• white linen card
• Tattered Lace's lace borders die set
• Crafter Companion's Embossalicious embossing folder (sorry don't have a name for this one)
• pink ribbon and gem from my stash
• tumbled glass distress ink

I cut the lace border twice, then matched it up and covered the join with a piece of ribbon. I embossed the core'dinations card and then sanded it back to reveal the core.

Another one for the boys

Good morning folks

Well after a beautiful day yesterday when spring had most definitely sprung, today it is grey and very wet - typical school holiday weather. As it is so dismal I am spending the day in my craft room getting organised with my cards for the next few months. I also treated myself (well it was my birthday) to some new stamps and embossing folders and I need some play time.

Today's card is one I made for my uncle's birthday - 

I have used - 

• Little square book of Manly moments from Hunkydory
• gold mirri card
• marbled Adorable Scorable from Hunkydory
• Spellbinder's sentiments 3 die

I used 3 pages from the little book and cut out decoupage layers to add more interest to the card.

Birthday wishes

Good morning

Last night saw the end of my birthday celebrations. We had a fabulous family meal, Edinburgh was amazing (despite the weather) and I feel well and truely spoilt. I am having a rest today as well as catching up with my chores (booooooo).

I folded the card front for this card and added a co-ordinating card to the inside folded area.

Eggs in one basket

Hello, happy Easter Monday to you all

Well the kitchen decorating continues; we have painted the walls again, just the gloss painting to do but my hubby will do that when the children are not demanding food. A least with a house full of teenagers we can get some work done in the morning; they only start surfacing and looking for food after 1pm!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone

I do hope you are enjoying your Easter weekend. We are currently in the middle of decorating our kitchen so it is not quite as restful as I would like but the kitchen is looking so much better already.

This is one of the Easter cards I made this year -

• topper from an old LOTV art pad (no longer available but can be purchased in digital form I think)

• tumbled glas distress ink

I inked the edge of the topper with tumbled glass distress ink to add definition.
