Shabby Chic easel card

Good morning from a very cold , snowy and icey Manchester

Yesterday the whole of Greater Manchester ground to a halt but I battled my way into work (leaving 35 minutes earlier than usual). I managed to get in on time to be told in was a snow day! It took me even longer to get home but I did have some unexpexted crafting time.
Today I am trying again to get into work - wish me luck. We have had temperatures of -6 overnight and those ungritted roads will be worst than ever but heyho and off we go.
Today's card is an anniversary card -
This photo makes the sentiment look wonky but it wasn't! I have used -

  • cream centura pearl
  • Sara's signature collection - Shabby Chic paper pad
  • precious metals centura pearl
  • Gemini heart easel card
  • Gemini words of endearment set 1 die set
  • Sara's signature collection - Shabby Chic seam binding and lace
  • pearl heart from my stash

Thank you for stopping by today. Take care in this horrible weather.

Love from Tilda

Good morning

After a very busy week I am so glad that it is Saturday. I have to go out later to do some shopping and have the usual housework to do but other than that have nothing planned so I am going to take things easy.
I have been struggling with my crafting over the past few months and noticed that several of my social media buddies are having similar issues. Someone commented that they always go back to making "cards that they love" so I decided to do the same.
I have always loved Magnolia stamps (not everyones' cup of tea I know but each to their own) and pretty embellishments so this is what I went back to -
I used micrale love Tilda stamp from Magnolia which I coloured with Copic pens and Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens -
  • skin - R000, R00, R20, R11, E11 and E04
  • hair - Y21, YR24, E09 and E29
  • clothes - R81, R83, R85 and R59
  • wings - C00, C1, C3 and crystal clear Sparkle pen
  • halo - crystal clear Sparkle pen
  • ground - C1 and C3
  • sky - B91

I have also used -
  • ivory centura pearl
  • Sara's Signature collection - Shabby Chic paper pad
  • Sara's Signature collection - Shabby Chic butterflies die set
  • Sara's Signature collection - Shabby Chic antique frames die set
  • Sara's signature collection - Shabby Chic seam binding
  • Sara's signature collection lace
  • ribbon, bling and pearls from my stash

And yes I did enjoy making it and was reminded of why I love my crafting so very much.
Have a great Saturday

Good Monday morning folks

I hope this post finds you all well this damp January Monday morning. In order to blog more regularly I have decided to schedule post 3 days a week. These days will not be set in stone but it gives me some kind of plan to work to which will hopefully keep my blog alive.

Penguin Santa

Good Morning folks

Friday at last and my Christmas holiday feels like a very distant memory. January always feels such a dull month and the weather we have had recently is just adding to that feeling. This week I purchased some hyacinth vases and some bulbs to try and bring a little colour into the house and they are beginning to shoot already which makes me feel a lot better. Also on a walk with the children today I noticed some snowdrops in a garden so there is definitely some signs of spring.
And now for something completely unseasonal. This is a Christmas card I made last year -
I used a lovely little stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Penguin Santa which I coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noir pens and Sparkle pens -

  • penguin - C7, C10, true black, C00, C1, R11, BO1, BO2, BO3 and BO4
  • sack - V99, R59, R46 and R27
  • hat - R59, R46, R27, C00, C1 and C3
  • sky - IB1
  • snow - C00, C1, C3 and crystal clear Sparkle pen
I have also used -

  • cream hammered card
  • kraft card
  • Sara's signature collection - A winter's tale paper pad
  • Tattered Lace velvet lace mini ruffle circles die set
  • glitter
  • LOTV's simple festive greetings stamps
  • antique linen distress ink
  • ribbon, baker's twine, charm and pearl from my stash

That's all from me today folks, have a good day.

  • matt black card
  • rainbow mirri card

  • Spectrum Noir metallic pens - gold plate, amethyst, pink quartz and green citrine
