Wonderful day

Good morning folks

We had a great day at Oulton Park on Monday but it was rather wet. We were able to park right next to the track so didn't miss the action even during the showers. Plus the rain did add a little jeopardy to the racing.

Happiness and Gin

Good morning folks

Today is a Bank Holiday in the UK and also the first day of the half term holiday so I am off to Oulton Park to see some classic car racing with my family. Hopefully the weather will stay dry! Fingers crossed.

Lock and key

Good morning

What fabulous weather we are having this week - such a difference from last week. I keep wearing the wrong kind of clothes!

Today's card is made using a great little image from Stamping Bella called Oddball lock and key. I love these quirky characters from Stamping Bella.

I coloured the image with Copic pens and Spectrum Noir pens - 

• skin - E50, E51, E21 and E11
• hair - GB8, GB10, EB5 and EB8
• clothes - R35, R46, R59, Coo, IG2, IG6, IG8 and IG10
• ground - BG1 and BG3
• sky - IB1

Capture the moment

Good morning

I had a great day in the garden yesterday; it looks fabulous now. We had wall to wall sunshine too - non of those pesky showers and today is looking good too. No garden time for me tho - unfortunately I have to go to work!
I have had lots of male birthdays this month and this is one I made for my father-in-law -

For this card I have used -

• Artistic Flair polka dot and spot stencils
• Spectrum Noir Harmony inks - honey pot, ocean blue, bordeaux, chinese red and midnight

I stamped the camera with black Versasine ink, fussy cut it out when in was dry and attached to the card with 3D glue gel.

Good morning

I am feeling much better today. I am up and dressed and ready to attack my garden. With all these "April" showers everything seems to have grown tremendously. But first things first here is today's post.

Fancy flamingo

Good Saturday afternoon folks

You find me sat in my dressing gown trying to motivate myself into getting a shower. Some days my mind says "go on, stop wasting precious time" but my body says "no can't be bothered.....". This is one of these days I think. I have learnt from experience to listen to my body - it is usually right!

I thought today I would show you something on the opposite end of the spectrum from yesterday's card -

This card started as me playing with some new dies and embossing folders but I was so happy with the result that I made it into a card. These new silhouette dies look like being one of my favourites - I have lots of ideas buzzing around my head of how to use them. What a pity time and motivation is lacking at the moment.
