Easter egg hunt

Hello folks

Happy Saturday. Today I am spending the day getting myself and the house ready for Easter. I have a little shopping to do and some housework then things will be ready. We went yesterday to collect my son from Uni so the family are all under one roof again which always makes me happy and tomorrow we are off to see my family for Easter tea - lovely.
I have another Easter card to share with you today. This time I have used an older stamp from my stash - 
The stamp is Tilda hiding Easter egg from Magnolia which I have coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens - 

  • skin - FS2, FS4, FS9, TN2 and CR2
  • hair - GB10
  • clothes - CT2, CT4, GB5, OR1, OR2 and OR3
  • egg - PP1, PP5, BP1, OR1, OR2 and OR3
  • grass - CG2, DG2 and DG4
  • sky - IB1

I have also used - 

  • white linen card
  • One Birdie Lane paper pad from LOTV
  • LOTV spring sentiments stamp set
  • Spellbinder's stately circles die set
  • Spellbinder's floral ovals die set
  • tumbled glass distress ink
  • white ribbon from my stash

Spring see-saw

Good afternoon everyone

Two posts in one day........ I know I am spoiling you but I do have rather a lot to show you at the moment.
This is another of my Easter cards made using my new purchases from LOTV - 
I have used Spring see-saw stamp which I have coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens - 

  • see-saw - MB1, MB2, MB3 and MB4
  • grass and leaves - CG1, CG2, CG3 and CG4
  • daffodil - CT2, GB4, GB5 and CG4
  • rabbit - IG2, IG3, IG4 and PP1
  • hat and basket - GB7, GB8 and GB9
  • butterflies and flowers - LV1, LV2, TB1, TB3, PP4, PP5 and PP6
  • sky - IB1 and IB2

I have also used - 

  • white linen card
  • Bonnets and bowties paper pad from LOTV (now sadly discontinued)
  • Spellbinder's labels 4
  • white satin ribbon and white rose pearls from my stash
  • tumbled glass distress ink

C for cake

Good morning


Today sees the start of a new challenge at Alphabet Challenge and this fortnight we have reached the letter C. We would like to see your crafty projects that fit the challenge C for cake. Here is my DT card for the challenge - 

I have used Made with love Tilda stamp from Magnolia which I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens, Colourblend pencils and Sparkle pens - 

  • skin - FS2, FS4, FS9, CR2, saddle brown and white gel pen
  • dress - TB5, TB6, TB7, GY1, GY3, GY4, paprika and admiral blue
  • hair - RB2, RB3, RB4 and sangria
  • cake - EB1, EB2, PP1, PP2, PP3, CT2, DR1, cranberry, carnation, ginger and crystal clear Sparkle pen
  • sky - TB1, TB2 and reef blue

I have also used - 

  • blue and yellow core'dinations
  • cake paper from Docrafts (it is a very old paper hidden in the depths of my stash)
  • Spellbinder's circle nesties amd Stately circles die set
  • LaLa Land banner die
  • Spellbinder's sentiments 3

Easter chick

Good afternoon folks

A bit late with my post today but I have been busy crafting Easter cards and I needed to complete them in order to catch the post. All done now and in the post box.
A little while ago I treated myself to some new stamps from Lili of the Valley and this is one of the cards I made with them - 
This stamp is called Easter Chick (from LOTV) which I coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens and Illustrator pens - 

  • egg - HB1, LV1, hydrangea, GT1, GT2 and GT3
  • flowers - HB1, LV1, hydrangea, GT1, GT3, CG1, CG3 and DG2
  • grass - CG1. CG3 and DG2
  • sky - sky blue
  • bird - MB1, MB3, MB4 and CT4

I have also used - 

  • Promises and promises solids paper pads (from LOTV but now discontinued although they may be available in digi form from Nitwits.co.uk)
  • Milled lavender distress ink
  • Die-namics plentiful petals die set
  • Spellbinder's floral ovals die set
  • button and ribbon from my stash
  • LOTV spring sentiments

Going to the Chapel

Hello folks

On Saturday I attended the wedding of my friends. The day was beautiful; the bride looked radiant, the groom nervous and the sun shone all day. It was a lovely day.

This is the card I made for them - 
In the background is the box I made to put the card and gift into.

I have used Lili of the Valley's bride and groom stamp which I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens, Illustrator pens and Sparkle pens -

  • clothes - IG1, IG2 and crystal clear Sparkle pen
  • flowers - AP1, AP2, AP3, AP4 and YG3
  • ground - BG1 and BG3
  • sky - sky blue Illustrator pen

  • Sara's signature collection - shabby chic 12" paper pad
  • Tattered Lace torn edge hexagon die set

The newly weds didn't want any gifts as they have already set up home together so I made a money wallet to pop into the box with the card.

A village stroll

Good morning

Wow what a lovely weekend it is. Yesterday was absolutely glorious, the sun shone all day and today looks like being exactly the same.

Edna at Christmas time

Good Saturday morning everyone

I am sorry it has been so long since my last post. Our home improvements were finished last weekend and I have spent the first week of my Easter holidays tidying up the house and putting everything back into our bedroom. We have also had a huge clearout so have had several trips to the tip. The house is looking much better now and I am glad we had the work done.
Back to crafting...... I made this card a few weeks ago. 
I am trying to make a few Christmas cards a month although have only made two so far. Still no need to panic as I have 8 months to go yet.
