Easter greetings

Hello everyone.

Today is another Bank Holiday in the UK and I am spending some time concentrating on my college work. The deadline is drawing very near and I am starting to panic. I have been spending far too much time in my craft room lately and the time has come to knuckle down and get some assignments written!
Today's card is my final Easter one for this year and features not one but two super cute hedgies from Penny Black. I made a DL card blank from Centura Pearl using my Ultimate Pro.

Ingredients
  • Ladybug n hedgehog and Seeing your face stamps from Penny Black
  • Spectrum Noir pencils - 065, 024, 027, 096, 099, 104, 003, 004, 005, 009, 056, 049, 053, 010, 013, 017, 112 and 117
  • Core'dinations card, hammered card and watercolour card
  • Tattered Lace Spring embossing folder

Easter bunnies

Happy Easter everyone

It is a double celebration in my house today. As well as being Easter Sunday it is also my birthday so birthday cake and Easter eggs washed down with a little fizz. Yummy!

Today's card is one I made to send Easter greetings to my family and friends -
A fairly simple card as I was batch making (and I left it to the last minute once again) and uses another new die from Spellbinders called Bunny (obvious really!!)
Ingredients
  • white and purple centura pearl
  • Tonic's Just a note die set
  • Spellbinder's bunny, circle nestie and scalloped circle nestie
  • LOTV's happy circular sentiments
  • ribbon from my stash

Good Friday

Hello folks

happy Good Friday. I hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday(those of you who have bank holidays) I have spent and very damp morning in the garden preparing to have a fence fitted on Tuesday. This involved digging up and moving different plants unfortunately after a dry start the rain kicked in and my hubby and I were drenched so I decided to spend the afternoon in my craft room where it was warm and dry. This is the card I made -
The challenge at the Ribbon Girl is anything but a square so I made a card blank using Spellbinder's grand decorative ovals and white centura pearl.
Ingredients
  • Spellbinder's Grand decorative ovals
  • Magnolia's Ballerina Bunny Tilda
  • Spectrum Noir pens and pencils - FS2, FS4, FS9, CR1, 089, TN6, TN7, TH8, 095, GT1, GT2, GT3, CR4, CR6, IG1, IG2, 063, 030, 114, IB1 and BG1

Birthday cake

Hello folks

After working hard over the weekend with my college work I decided I deserved some time in my craftroom.
Here is a card I made for the Allsorts challenge. This week's challenge is cake and cupcakes which I thought I had nothing suitable for but after a search through my stamp boxes and it turns out I have several stamps which would have been suitable (who would have guessed). I have chosen to use this one from Crafter's Companion -
I have been reading some of my older blog posts and I am wondering if my blogs are too long winded so I have decided to try a shortened version today. Please let me know which you prefer.
  • stamp - yum, yum, yum (the Bebunni range from Crafter's Companion)
  • Spectrum Noir pens and pencils - BGR1, BGR2, BGR3, PP1, PP2, 031,119, EB4, EB6, EB7, PP3, PP4, PP5, IGI, blender, 030, 031, 117, 098, BP1, CT1, CT2 and OR1
  • Bonnets and bowties and Bonnets and bowties solids paper pads from LOTV.
  • Hot pink saddlestitch ribbon (from the Ribbon Girl)
  • Joanna Sheen border die
  • Spellbinder's sentiment die
  • pearls (from my stash) coloured with PP3 Spectrum Noir pen.
