Three for ......

Good morning folks

What glorious weather we are having here in the UK but even the sunshine can have its hazards
(photo courtesy of CNN International website)
The moorlands around Manchester have been burning all week, travelling home from Preston on Tuesday evening was awful; roads closed (including the M62), the moon an eerie orange orb and choking smoke hanging over the city. A really horrible and dangerous situation; my thoughts are with those brave men and women who are trying to bring the fires under control. The fact that these are peat moorlands is only making the problem even worse. Although I love the sunshine I can't help thinking a bit of rain is now really necessary.

My crafting today is fairly straight forward and courtesy of Hunkydory's Milestones and Moments - Father's day card kit -

In addition to the card kit I have also used -
  • gold miri
  • Tattered Lace's love is in the air sentiments
That's all from me today. Enjoy your weekend

With love

Good Monday morning folks

What a glorious weekend we had here in the North West. A little overcast on Saturday but yesterday was just gorgeous. Stunning blue sky and wall to wall sunshine and it is looking promising for today too.
Today I am sharing an easel anniversary card with you -
For this card I have used -
  • cut, craft, create set 2 dies from Tattered Lace
  • red and black centura pearl from Crafter's Companion
  • love is in the air sentiments from Tattered Lace
  • black ribbon, sparkley thing (coloured with DR7 Spectrum Noir pen) and charm from my stash

A very quick and simple card to make, I just let the die do all the work.

That's all from me today, enjoy your start to the working week

Cogs in motion

Good morning

Well I made a complete hash of scheduling a post every day. For some reason (there is a numpty operating the laptop) I managed to post twice on Monday when one should have posted yesterday. Oh well let's try again!
Day 3 of the scheduling marathon and we have reached Wednesday - yeah hump day. One of my favourite days of the week; the worst part of the working week is behind me and the best part is still to come.
One for the boys for you today. This is a card I made for my friend's recent birthday -
I have used -
  • Spectrum Noir metallic markers - pewter, gol plate, antique bronze and silver ingot
  • Die'sire Timepiece easel create a card die set
  • matt black card
  • pewter mirri card
  • checker plate embossing folder from Crafter's Companion
  • sentiment from Tattered Lace issue 40 magazine
  • Spellbinder's labels 4 die set

I cut the detailed dies from matt black card and then coloured it with the Spectrum Noir metallic pens.
That's all from me today. Enjoy your Wednesday.
