Just Peachy

Good morning folks

This week at The ribbon girl blog the colour challenge is orange and peach and this is the inspiration picture they gave -

This is my card for the challenge -

The papers are from Boho Chic paper pad from First Edition and the image is Poppy Tilda which has been coloured with the following Promarkers -

  • skin - almond, putty, dusky pink and pastel pink
  • hair - chestnut, burnt sienna and henna
  • dress and shoes - soft peach, peach, mango and bright orange
  • flower - soft peach, peach, bright orange, pear green and marsh green
  • sky - pastel blue
  • shadow - ice grey 1
The image has been cut out with an oval nestie, inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink and then matted onto a larger oval cut from a piece of paper from the paper pad. Lace from the Ribbon Girl was then pleated onto the back of the oval. The papers were cut and arranged on the card base as shown, a piece of peach ribbon added and then the image was added using foam pads for dimension.

Then flowers were arranged in the corners of the card.

To finished I added some peach gems. The flowers, gems, lace and ribbon were all from The Ribbon Girl.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Thank you for stopping by

Lesley
