Winter cheer

Good morning everyone

Today's card uses one of my older stamps. It is from Crafters Companion's SWALK winter cheer range and is called Warm heart -

I have coloured the image using the following Spectrum Noirs -

  • hair - TN5, TN7 and TN8
  • skin - FS2, FS4 and FS6
  • hat and coat - BT3, BT4 and BT5
  • boots and gloves - GB8 and GB9
  • penguins - GG1, GG3, GG4, GG5 and CT4
  • shadow - GG1
  • sky - IB1
To create the background I embossed a piece of core'dinations whitewash card with a music Embossalicious embossing folder and then sanded it back to reveal the blue core. I cut a Spellbinder's Lacey oval using the reverse of the core'dinations and then embossed it with an Embossalicious snowflake embossing folder. Then I matted the image, which I had cut out with scissors, onto it.

I then cut 3 snowflakes from white glitter card using a snowflake Die'sire die. I attached one to the card base and then I attached the image to the card base using foam pads for dimension. I layered the remaining 2 snowflakes on top of each other and then attached them to the card as shown using a foam pad. To finish I added some silver gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -
