Teal sunflowers

Good morning folks

A scheduled post from me today as I am heading off to work this morning. I have been a bit hit and miss posting lately so I spent yesterday afternoon scheduling a few posts for this week.
This is a little card I made recently -
This is another example of heat embossing that I learnt to do properly during lockdown.
For this card I have used -
  • Chloe's Creative cards box kit number 6 stamps and papers
  • Sparkelicious glitter - grasshopper and fire opal
  • WOW opaque bright white embossing powder
  • Papermania silver embossing powder
  • Neenah stamping card
  • tumbled glass distress oxide
  • white centura pearl for the card base

Apologies for the fuzzy photos, the camera struggles to cope with all the sparkle.
The camera never seems to catch the sparkle on these Chloe style cards.
That's all from me today.

Flying high

Good morning folks

How are we all doing? Work has gone really well. It has been lovely for school to feel like a school again with all the sounds of children enjoying their learning. It has meant me not having much time to craft but life is a balance after all.
Today's card is one I made during lockdown -
I adore these stamps from Janet Klein at AALL and Create and have had great fun playing with them. This gorgeous girl is from the stamp set called Fly and I have used my Illustrators and Copic to colour them.
For this card I have used -
  • AALL and Create stamps - fly, flowers and sunshine and #2
  • AALL and Create stencils - sunrise and broken circle
  • Distress Oxides - picked raspberry, wilted violet, fossilised amber, antique linen, mustard seed, ripe persimmon, twisted citron, tumbled glass and peacock feathers
  • Illustrator pens - CG2, CG3, CG4, PP3, PP5, PP6, TB1, TB3, LV2, BGR3, CT3 and OR3
  • Copic pens - C00, C1 and C3
  • Triblend pens - fairskin blend
  • Crystal clear sparkle pen
  • matt black card
  • white stamping card
  • black gems from my stash

For the background I started with a background I had already made using the broken circle stencil and then added different layers of inks, stencils and stamps.

That's all from me today. I am off to see my dad (from a social distance) to deliver his card and a lovely parkin.

Happy Bee day

Good afternoon everyone

A little late posting today, I have been busy doing housework (yuck) so I can have some crafty time tomorrow.
Today I am sharing a card I made for my eldest son from his Grandparents. They are currently shielding so I have been providing all the celebration cards that they needed during lockdown.
For this card I have used -
  • Chloe's creative cards box kit number 6 - stencil, stamps and die
  • distress inks - spiced marmalade, faded jeans, hickory smoke and fossilised amber
  • Chloe's creative cards bee and honeycomb stamp set
  • stamping card
  • matt black card
  • yellow core'dinations
  • Woodware's sweet honey bee stamp set (for the sentiment)
I stamped and coloured the bees with black ink and then stamped it again and fussy cut the bees. I then 3D them onto the original stamp.
That's all from me today folks.

Fabulous flowers

Good morning

After a very busy day yesterday everything is now ready to welcome the children on Monday so I am at home today watching the Christmas craft shows on the telly box. My card today, however is not at all festive. You may remember that I told you a couple of weeks ago that I was following Chloe Endean's craft-a-longs to improve my heat embossing, well this is one of the cards I made -
This card is very glittery and sparkly but the photos don't show that very much which is a little disappointing.
For this card I have used -
  • white centura pearl
  • white linen card
  • baby pink pearl paper
  • baby pink pearl card
  • heat resistant acetate
  • Chloe's creative cards best wishes, fabulous flowers and fabulous foliage stamps
  • Chloe's Sparkelicious glitter - strawberry sorbet, crystallina and unicorn sparkle
  • WOW opaque bright white embossing powder
  • Papermania silver embossing powder
  • Chloe's creative cards sunburst stencil
  • Imagination crafts diamond sparkle texture paste
  • Gemini stitched circles 2 die set
  • gems from my stash

I had great fun making this card and ended up with glitter everywhere.

Thanks you for stopping by today
