First festive card of the year

Good morning folks

Now I hate to mention the C word but as I am on my summer holidays the festivities have arrive chez moi. So I am posting my first festive card of the year -
I have decided to use my new found heat embossing skills for this card and have used -
  • Stamps by Chloe - brush Merry Christmas and holly flower corner
  • WOW embossing powders - cranberry fizz and Nordic pine
  • Cosmic Shimmer bright gold metallic embossing powder
  • Sparkelicious glitter - happy holly days
  • white stamping card
  • gold mirri
  • gems and bling from my stash
  • heat resistant acetate
This is a 6 by 6 card and is very flat to keep postal cost to a minimum.

That's all from me today and for the rest of next week as I am off on holiday. Not going very far but it will be good to get away from home for a little while.

Bebunni baby

Good morning

Today's card is a side stepper new baby one. I haven't made a stepper card in ages and found these card blanks when searching for something else.
The stamp is an old one from Crafter's Companion called Bebunni new arrival which I have coloured with my Triblend and original Spectrum Noir pens -
  • bunny - IG blend, PP blend and black
  • blanket and balloons - PP blend and PP shades
  • sky - IB1
  • highlights - white gel pen

For this card I have also used -
  • side stepper card blank from Crafter's Companion
  • baby pink and white centura pearl
  • Sara's signature collection - birthday party scattered dots embossing folder
  • Tattered Lace lacy days rectangles die set
  • ribbon and gems from my stash

All the sentiments are from the stamp set.

That's all from me today - got a laundry day planned! Thanks for stopping by.

Flowers and sparkle

Good morning folks

Today I thought I would share another of my Chloe stamp-a-longs.
I love the colour of this card. As I said this is another of Chloe's stamp-a-long, number 6 I think it is and it will be available for you to watch on YouTube.
I have used -
  • white centura pearl
  • silver mirri
  • heat resistant acetate
  • Chloe's luxury pearl card and papers - aquamarine
  • Stamps by Chloe summer blooms flower stamp
  • Stamps by Chloe happy birthday stamp and die set
  • Embossing folder by Chloe floral fantasy embossing folder

  • WOW embossing powder - opaque bright white and ice pop
  • Papermania silver embossing powder
  • Chloe's rainbow gems
  • bling stones from my stash

I changed the sentiment and embossing folder as I didn't have the exact ones that Chloe was using.
I really loved making this card although it did take a long time to cut out all the flowers and foliage.

Thank you for stopping by today.

What a beautiful Sunday we are having - no rain and a little sunshine. Finally a break in the weather so I have been able to get into the garden and try and repair some of the damage done by the high winds and persistent rain. I even got a little festive crafting done yesterday and intend to do a little more today.
Today I am sharing a new baby card -

  • blanket - R81, R83 and R85

  • flower doily punch from X-Cut
  • ribbon and gems from my stash
Right that's all from me today, off to do some ironing and then a little crafting.

A handbag card

Good morning folks

An early start today so I thought I would get some blog posts written whilst I try and wake myself up.
Today's card is another of Chloe's stamp-a-long cards. She began doing this during lockdown on a Wednesday afternoon and I really enjoyed joining in. This has had to stop now that I am back at work full time but I do try and catch up on Youtube.
It's a handbag card which is something I have never made before but it is quite simple to do.
For this card I have used -
  • Chloe's Creative cards stamps - large sunflower, geometric background, butterfly trails and spring foliage
  • Chloe's Creative cards floral fantasy embossing folder
  • Chloe's Creative cards watercolour washes paper pad
  • unicorn sparkle and paradise Sparkelicious glitter
  • clear glitter
  • diamond white WOW embossing powder
  • Papermania silver embossing powder
  • ribbon and gems from my stash

I stamped and embossed the sunflower 3 times, left one whole but cut into the other 2 and then decoupaged them up.
Thank you for stopping by today, have a good Sunday.

Flower market

Hello folks

And a very good afternoon from a very soggy Manchester. What a miserable day but I am a happy bunny today. Yesterday I managed to get a hair cut and I feel so much better; lighter and much brighter. Also the rain means that I don't have to come up with any excuses to stay in my craftroom.....
Today's card is a result of playing with my AALL & Create goodies -
I am going to do this post a little different as it gets complicated so I'll split up the background from the rest of the card.
For the background I have used -
  • white stamping card
  • Spectrum Noir sparkle ink - moonstone
  • Cosmic Shimmer ink spray - paradise pink
  • Cosmic Shimmer shimmer mist - silver
  • Distress oxides - mermaid lagoon, twisted citron, wilted violet, picked raspberry
  • AALL & Create stencils - sunrise and sundew
  • AALL & Create stamps - flowers and sunshine and #2

The image is from AALL & Create and is called flower market by Janet Klein which I coloured with the following Spectrum Noit Triblend and Illustrators -
  • skin - FS blend and CR3
  • hair - TN7, TN8 and TN9
  • clothes - LV1, LV3, BGR3, PP5 and PP6
  • flowers - CG2, LV3, PP6, CT3 and TB3
I have also used -
  • matt black card
  • black pearls from my stash
  • black Spectrum Noir pen to edge the sentiment
That's all from me today, thank you for stopping by.
