Hello Folks
Well it's started - my first Christmas card of the year. I decided to visit the Winter Wonderland blog to help me get started. The challenge is blue Christmas and here is my take on the challenge -
I began by covering a 6 inch card blank with a white and blue spotty paper from LOTV's frosty Christmas paper pad. I then cut a Tonic layering square from a blue paper from the pad and matted it onto a piece of silver centura pearl paper. I added some white lace (from the ribbon girl) and a piece of blue satin ribbon to the paper and then attached it to the card base.
- hair - raw sienna, terracotta and burnt sienna
- skin - satin, blush, dusky pink and coral
- clothes - denim blue, arctic blue, sky blue, reef blue, midnight blue, powder blue and cornflower
- presents - powder blue, cornflower and silver gel pen
- shadow - warm grey 1
- sky - pastel blue
I cut the image out with Spellbinder's Grand decorative ovals, inked whist still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink and attached to the card with Pinflair.
I then added some slender firs ( a Doohickey die) cut from white centura pearl card and attached them to the card with Pinflair as shown.
The sentiment is from LOTV's hand written Christmas phrases which a cut out with a Die-namics mini tabs quartet. I attached it to the card as shown.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -
