Christmas in July

 Good morning

Whilst the UK is sweltering in a mini heatwave I have been preparing for Christmas!!!

Here is the first of many to share with you - 

This cute little stamp is another by Francois Reed (at Woodware) and is called Christmas tree gnome. I have coloured him with my Spectrum Noir pens and Triblends - 

• Christmas tree - JG shades, DR blend, CT blend, CT4 and OR blend
• skin - FS blend
• beard - IG blend
• suit - DR blend and JG shades
• bauble - CT blend, CT4, DR blend and BG shades
• sky - VB2
• snow - IG1 and IG2

To complete the card I have used - 

• white centura pearl
• red cardstock
• clear glitter
• pearls

A different fold

Ah, the end of the working week and only another week before the summer break. This year has been particularly tough and I am looking forward to a well deserved break.

Here is today's card - 

This is a card I made after following a craft-a-long with Debby Robinson on Crafter's TV.

For this card I have used -

Butterfly centre piece

Another scheduled post from me today. And another multiple card post.

Today it is two cards from 1 die - 

For this card I have used - 

• white stamping card
• matt black card
• Butterfly meadow create-a-card die
• Harmony water reactive inks - ocean blue, honey pot, fuchsia and spring meadow
• Crafter's Companion everyday sentiment stamp set
• pearls from my stash

I created the background for the inside of the card using the Harmony inks and a paper template for the clouds. I matted it onto a piece of matt black card.

And the second card - 

For this card I have used - 

• white centura pearl
• Butterfly meadow create-a-card die
• Sara's signature collection - garden party 6x6 paper pad
• Spectrum Noir pens - PP1, PP2, PP3 and PP4
• acetate
• pearls from my stash

I coloured through the die with Spectrum Noir pens. It gives a very subtle finish on the centura pearl card.

Wishing you well

 Good morning

I have been so busy at work and crafting in my spare time that I have neglected my blog so I decided to schedule a few posts on Sunday.

Here is today's card -

I have used a Crafter's Companion stamp called wishing you well to make the topper. The set has lots of different flower stamps and dies which allows you to build your own bouquets. I stamped the individual flowers, leaves and vase and coloured them as flowers with my Triblend pens - 

• vase - TB blend
• flowers - CR blend, CR shades, GY blend and CT blend
• leaves - CT blend, JG shades and JG blend

I also used Harmony quick dry inks in smoked emerald and green topaz to stamp the leaves.

To complete the card I used - 

• white centura pearl
• Sara;s signature collection - garden party 6x6 paper pad
• peach core'dinations
• stain ribbon
• Gemini stitched ovals 2

Take one stamp

 Good morning

A little late posting today but to make up I thought I would share more than one card today. 

I decided to set myself a challenge - use only one stamp but any mediums. Here are the results - 

The stamp is swirling florals from Crafter's Companion and as you can see one stamp, four completely different looking cards. The details of which mediums I have used are under each photo -

For this card I have used - 

• clear embossing powder
• Spectrum Noir Aqua pens - heather, orchid, jasmine, kingfisher and aquamarine
• white, silver and lilac centura pearl
• Crafter's Companion birthday swash sentiments
• black gems

For this one I also used - 

• WOW white embossing powder
• Spectrum Noir Harmony water reactive inks - Chinese red, orange, lemon tonic and honey pot
• white and old gold centura pearl
• yellow core'dinations
• Crafter's Companion birthday swash sentiment stamp
• black gems

For this version I have used - 

• Wow embossing powder - cupcake heaven
• matt black card
• pink mirri
• pink glitter card
• Crafter's Companion birthday swash sentiment stamp
• black gems

And finally for this version I have used - 

• clear embossing powder
• Spectrum Noir metallic pencils - nickel, light blue, silver and blue
• matt black card
• silver centura pearl
• blue core'dinations
• Crafter's Companion birthday swash sentiment stamps
• black gems

I still have more ideas to do with this stamp including using my Spectrum Noir pens and pencils, all I need now is the time to play.

Spring has sprung

 Good morning

After a lot of rain over the last few days I am hoping for a dry day. It is our sports day, which will be a very different event this year, so some sunshine would be much appreciated.

Here is today's card - 

The image is actually two stamps, both are by Lee Holland and are called woodland trail and spring has sprung. I coloured the whole image with my original Spectrum Noir pens and my Triblends -

• background - GB shades, EB blend, EB shades, JG shades, AG blend and IB blend
• badger - IG blend, IG shades and IG1
• flowers - AG blend, HB blend, PP blend, PP shades, GT blend, GY blend and IB blend
