As promised here is a card made with my recent crafty purchases. Sorry about the photo quality - the sun was very bright today, shouldn't complain really.
I started with a piece of lilac centura pearl card stock which I scored and folded in half to form the card base. I ran half the card through an M-bossabilities garden lattice embossing folder. I then cut a piece of paper from LOTV's Promises paper pad using a Spellbinder's matting basics A die and matted it onto the card base. The image is James - umbrella (ST488) from LOTV and has been coloured with the following Promarkers -
- James - warm grey 1, warm grey 2, warm grey 3, black and blender
- umbrella - lavender, lilac, orchid, amethyst, ice grey 3 and ice grey 5
- puddles and rain - april showers and polar blue
- sky - pastel blue
The sentiment is from a Papermania set which I cut out using the smallest die in the Reflective moments die set and inked whilst still in the die with milled lavender distress ink. To finish I added a lilac bow and spotty button.
