In the garden

Hello Folks and a very happy Monday to you all. The weather here is absolutely fabulous - wall to wall sunshine so I decided to photograph my card for today (and for tomorrow) out in the garden. Not sure it was a good idea as the photos are a bit washed out but here goes -
It is made from very pale coloured papers - oatmeal, pale green and pale pink I hope you can see them. Next time I will do all my photos inside.
I began by covering a 6 inch card blank with a paper from Country Companions For someone special paper pad. I then cut a piece of green paper (from the pad) using the outer two dies from Tonic's Just a note to say die set which I attached to the card and then added a piece of cream lace from the Ribbon Girl. I cut a Die'sire circle doily and attached it to the top corner of the card.
The image is from Country Companions For someone special stamp set which I coloured with the following Promarkers -
  • hedgehog - almond, putty, grey squirrel, morning mist, tawny owl, dusky rose, cinnamon, cocoa and burnt sienna
  • boots - green shoot, leaf green, apple green, ice grey 1 and ice grey 3
  • watering can - budding rose, peony and pink lobster
  • apron - ice grey 1, green shoot, leaf green, budding rose, peony and pink lobster
  • sky - pastel blue
  • ground - warm grey 1 and warm grey 3
  • ladybug - cardinal red, wild cranberry, putty and almond
I cut the image out using Spellbinder's grand decorative circles one, inked whilst still in the die with antique linen distress ink and attached to the card with foam pads. I got the idea for the water drops from Christine Emmerson at Hopes and Chances - don't they look great.
I made the flowers using Spellbinder's Blooms 1 and Blooms 3 and a pink paper from the paper pad. I also cut 2 flowers using Tonic's Mazarine blue die set. I arranged them in one corner of the card and added pearls to the centre of the flowers.
To finish I added a butterfly cut using Tonic's Mazarine blue butterfly die and a piece of pink paper from the paper pad. I added a pearl to the centre of the butterfly.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Thank you for stopping by and reading my ramblings. Please feel free to leave a comment - I love to read them.
