For the boys

Happy Monday morning to you all.

The challenge at I love Promarkers challenge blog is "For the boys". Here is the card I made for the challenge - 

I began with a 6 inch kraftcard card blank which I matted and layered with papers from LOTV's country gent paper pad. I cut a piece of paper using Spellbinder's A2 bracket borders 2, wrapped some twine (from my stash) around the centre and then attached it to the card. The image is from LOTV's new stamp launch and is called James - laptop (ST485) and has been coloured with the following Promarkers - 

• James - cinnamon, cocoa, walnut, burnt sienna and black
• laptop - cool grey 4, cool grey 5 and metallic silver
• shadow - cool grey 1
• sky - pastel blue

I cut the image out using Spellbinder's labels 18 and inked whilst still in the die with antique linen distress ink. I added this to the card base with foam pads. To finish I added some small buttons from my stash.
