Something blue

Hello everyone

Well what a struggle this post has been! I have been trying to write this post since Sunday and after several attempts with my now very ill laptop and a brief stint with a blog app (do not go there) I have finally decided to use my hubby's laptop (shh he is at work and unaware of this fact). The photos are a little dodgy too as I took them with my ipad and my cover has put a pink reflection on them - again it is best not to ask!!!
This Allsorts challenge this week is Blue as the ocean, which is very apt for the current weather we are experiencing in the UK. Here is my card for the challenge -

I decided to go the whole hog and include seaside images too. I have used 2 Tilda stamps - bikini Tilda and Tilda on the beach, both from Magnolia. Then I coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir pens (dodgy photo alert) -

  • skin - TN1, TN2, TN3 and CR1
  • hair - TN7, TN8 and EB8
  • clothes - TB1, TB3, TB5, TB7 and TB8
  • sand - GB3, GB7 and GB9
  • sky - IB1

as above but I changed the hair colours as follows -
  • GB8, GB10 and EB5
  • sea - IB2 and IB3
I did have loads of other photos to add but the blogger app will not play ball at all and I am at the point of launching the ipad out of the window (but it belongs to work and I will get into sooooo much trouble!!)
The other ingredients used were -
  • Tonic shutter card die
  • Lala Land stitched sun die
  • papers from my stash (from Docrafts I think)
  • white centura pearl (for the card base) and blue core'dinations
  • Die'sire Happy Birthday die
  • pearls from my stash
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Sorry for the rant of a blog. I am going shopping this weekend for a new laptop - enough is enough.
Thank you for stopping by

    1. This is absolutely perfect for our theme this week Lesley and I do like a kinetic card.

Many thanks for joining in at Allsorts challenge.

Good luck with the lappy hunting and good luck with Windows 8 which seem the only option now, took me forever to get used to it, bring back vista any day.
