Tilda and hummingbirds

Good Friday afternoon folks

Yipee IT'S HALF TERM!!!! Yes I have finished work for a week and it is Crafter's Companion's 11th birthday so I can finally share my samples made using the fabulous new Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. I have been busy playing with these gorgeous pens for the past few weeks and they are AMAZING!! They are very juicy, blend seamlessly and have the most fabulous nibs - one is an extremely soft brush nib and the other is a small bullit nib which is just perfect for colouring tiny areas. I thought I would share 2 cards today. Here is the first one -
For this 6"x6" card I have used A little bit sketchy tropical nectar stamp (from Sheena Douglass) and the following Illustrator pens -

  • bird - pearl blue, denim, true blue, petrol blue, blue grey 1, canary, bright orange, emerald & pale citrus
  • flowers - baby pink, fruit pink, cocktail pink, daffodil, sunshine, canary, yellow, pale citrus & salad
  • background - pale mint, pearl blue, denim & blender

For this easel card I used a Tilda stamp (sweet Tilda with balloon) from Magnolia and the following Illustrator pens -

  • skin - eggshell, linen, honeydew & blush
  • hair - amber, leather, henna & black
  • suit & balloon - portrait pink, rose, rose blush, blush, blender & cocktail pink
  • sky - pearl blue & blender
Leann is back on Hochanda this afternoon at 5pm and tomorrow at 11am, 3pm and 6pm. Why not join her and see these fabulous pens in action. They have an amazing deal on which includes the pens, storage trays and a gorgeous bag too.

Thank you for stopping by, enjoy your evening
