Good morning everyone
Today's card contains another image I coloured before Christmas and also features my new toy - A Martha Stewart punch system which allows you to punch around the outside and also the inside of squares and rectangles. Absolutley love it.
I began by making the card base. I used a piece of 11x8 inch piece of black centura pearl and punched around the outer, scored and folded in half. I then punched another smaller piece of black centura pearl and a piece of red card, and ran them both through a Tattered lace embossing folder. I matted and layered them onto the card base and then added a piece of red netting from the Ribbon Girl.
The image is from Lala land called Bat girl Marci which I coloured with the following Spectrum Noir pens and pencils -
- hair - GB8, GB10, EB5, 087 and 089
- skin - FS2, FS3, TN2, TN3, CR1 and 089
- clothes - IG1, IG6, IG8, 119, DR1, DR5, DR7 and 033
- Ground - BG3
- Sky - IB1, IB2, TB1, TB2 and TB3
I cut the image out with a Spellbinder's nestie, inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink and matted onto a red, faux nestie. I then matted the topper onto a black centura pearl Spellbinder's Grand decorative oval die cut and attached it to the card base with foam tape.
I added some flowers and berries from the Ribbon Girl and cut some LaLa land eerie bats and arranged as shown.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

The black and red looks great Lesley. I did see those punches demoed and they looks very effective as your card proves.
