January Fairy

This card is a little late. I should have posted it in January but life got in the way last month.

I bought this stamp during the sales (along with several others!!! More later, hopefully in the correct month) and it is from the LOTV calender fairy range. This is January -

I stamped her onto Neenah Crest card and coloured her with Spectrum Noirs and Sparkle pens (well she is a fairy and fairys always sparkle)

• skin - FS2, FS3, TN2 and CR1
• hair - TN5, TN7 and TN9
• clothes - PL1, PL2, inspired violet and crystal clear. I also paper pieced her skirt and socks
• boa - cosmos and crystal clear
• wings - inspired violet, cosmos and crystal clear
• headband - cosmos and crystal clear
• wand - moonlight and crystal clear
• glass - IG1, moonlight and crystal clear

I used the crystal clear pen like a waterbrush to move the coloured sparkle around and add shade to the area. It is a great technique and guarantees that your shading looks accurate.

The other ingredients used were - 

• Mulberry Kisses paper pad from First Edition, edged with TN9 Spectrum Noir
• Tonic layering squares and circles
• Bebunni cottage lace die from Crafter's Companion
• bow and pearls from my stash
