Take it easy

Hello everyone.

I hope you are still enjoying this lovely sunshine although it has been quite foggy the last two mornings but that lovely sunshine burns through quickly. To celebrate the sun having his hat on for such a long time I have made this card -

The image is Happy Hoppers - hopping happy from Joanna Sheen. The papers are from a First Edition desert bloom paper pad. I have coloured the happy hopper using the following Promarkers -

  • Hopper - sandstone, burnt sienna, pink carnation and fuchsia pink
  • Water - pastel blue and arctic blue
  • Duck - manadarin, summer sun and gold
  • Glass - april shower, summer sun and gold
  • Ring - soft peach, mango, peach, pink lobster, tropical orchid, summer sun, gold and henna
I cut the image out using spellbinder's floral ovals and inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink. I used the border die from Spellbinder's venetian accents to cut the edge of the flower paper and also to cut out the peach border. I added some lace, and flowers and leaves from the Spellbinder's jewel flowers and flourishes. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley which I cut out with a circle nestie and mounted onto a butterflies circle from Spellbinders. I added some pearls to finish.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Thank you for stopping by.

Lesley
