Knowing you

Happy Monday everyone

I hope you all don't have that Monday morning feeling. This is my last week at work before a fortnights holiday so I am in a really good mood - long may it last.

The challenge at Crafty Little fairies is pretty in pink - my favourite colour to craft with so I had to a card for this challenge and here it is -

The image I have used is from LOTV and is called Blooming wheelbarrow (ST389) and I have coloured it with the following Spectrum Noirs - 

• rabbit - GG1, GG2, PP1, PP2, PP3 and PP5
• bear - GG2, GG3, PP1, PP2, PP3, PP4, PP5 and BP1
• flowers - PP1, PP2, PP3, PP4, PP5 and BP1
• leaves and grass - CG3, CG4, LG5 and JG1

I stamped the image twice, cut out the rabbit and the bear and then decoupaged them onto the base image. I then cut out the image. The sentiment is from LOTV's Quoteables - Friendship and I have cut it out using Spellbinder's Heart circles. I inked it whilst still in the die with spun sugar distress ink. I matted and layered 3 pink papers from Docrafts Henbury lane paper pad (this is quite an old pad that I discovered at the bottom of my paper box so it might not still be available).

To create the border I cut 2 borders using Die'sire lace border 6 and layered them on top of each other. To finish I added some flowers from The Ribbon Girl.
