Pink hair

Good evening everyone

Yes I'm back fully refreshed after a lovely week in the Yorkshire Dales with my family and have nearly completed all my laundry too - just couldn't resist the call of my craft room any longer.

The challenge at I love Promarkers this week is pink hair so here is my card -

The image I have used is from Saturated Canary and is called Lilianna. She has been coloured using the following promarkers -

  • hair - blossom, carnation pink, fuchsia pink and pink lobster
  • skin - almond, putty and dusky pink
  • trousers - cinnamon, umber and burnt sienna
  • top and shoes - pastel blue, cool aqua and duck egg
  • shadow - ice grey 1
I made my card base using Spellbinder's matting basics and ivory centura pearl. I then matted and layered papers from First Edition's Summer breeze paper pad. I cut the image out using matting basics A and inked whilst still in the die with antique linen distress ink. I then matted the image onto Spellbinder's branching out die (I found a lovely craft shop on the way home from my holiday and they had this die set which I have been looking for for ages so I treated myself - again!!!) using another paper from the pad. I cut the border using Die'sire lace border 6 and added it to the centre of the card. Then I added the image using foam pads. I cut several flowers using Spellbinder's jewel flowers and flourishes, added pearls to the centre and attached them to the bottom of the card as shown.

To finish I added a dragonfly cut using a Doohickey die I won last month on the Ribbon girl's  Magnolia challenge and added a pearl to the centre.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge

Thank you for stopping by
