Spotty Tilda

Hello and a happy Halloween to you all

Today's post is quite far removed from Halloween as you can see. The Magnolia challenge at the Ribbon Girl this week is spots and dots. This is the card I have made -

The stamp I have used is Pink Ribbon Tilda and is the one I won on the last magnolia challenge from the Ribbon Girl. I was very lucky to receive a voucher to spend at the Ribbon Girl.s on line store and a packet of goodies from Magnolia in Sweden which included this stamp, a die, some papers and some gems. It was a lovely surprise.

I coloured the image using the following promarkers -

  • hair - raw sienna, burnt sienna and henna
  • skin - almond, putty and dusky pink
  • suit - turquoise, marine and pink lobster
I paper pieced the ribbon and shoes from pink spotty paper. I cut the image out using an oval nestie and inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink. I matted the image onto a Spellbinder's lacey ovals cut from pink spotty paper.  I made a shaped card base using Go Kreate XXL square frilly frames #2 and matted and layered some papers from my stash as shown. Then I cut 2 Spellbinder's splendid circles from pink card and embossed them with a dotty embossing folder. I sanded them back and added them to the card base as shown. Then I added some spotty ribbon (from my stash) and white lace (from the Ribbon Girl) to the centre of the card.

I arranged some flowers (again from the Ribbon Girl) onto the card base and added some dragonflies cut using a Doohickey die. To finish I added some pearls.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Thank you for stopping by

Lesley
