Hello, happy Saturday
Can you believe it is May bank holiday weekend! The year is racing by. It looks like the weather is going to be kind too - hooray I will be able to get in the garden and try and regain control of it.
Now onto something crafty -
The challenge at I love Promarkers is Not Quite Straight and here is my card for the challenge -
I began with a 6 inch kraft card blank which I covered with a paper from LOTV's Country Gents paper pad. I then cut several more of the papers with Tonic's square layering dies and Spellbinder's label 29, matted them onto kraft card and then attached then to the card base on an angle.
I used Toot, toot (ST421) from LOTV as my image and coloured it with the following Promarkers -
- skin - satin, blush and dusky pink
- hair - henna
- hat, scarf and glove - sandstone, caramel, cocoa, cinnamon and umber
- car - red, red berry, crimson, cool grey 1, cool grey 2, cool grey 3, cool grey 4, cool grey 5, ice grey 4, ice grey 5 and black
- sky - pastel blue
- ground - caramel and umber
I cut the image out using Spellbinder's matting basics A, inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink and matted onto some kraft card. I then attached it to the card base on a slant (using foam pads).
The sentiment is from a Papermania set which I stamped with Expresso Adirondack. I cut the sentiment out, inked the edge with antique linen distress ink and matted onto kraft card. I attached it to the card with foam pads (at a jaunty angle).
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -

Many thanks for stopping by.
