Allsorts Christmas

Hello everyone

The challenge at Allsorts is Christmas and here is my card for the challenge -
I began by covering a 6 inch square card blank with a paper from LOTV's Twas the night and then cutting a Tonic twisted twine from another of the papers from the pad. I added some lace from the Ribbon Girl to the centre.
The image is Deck the halls from LOTV (this is one of the retiring stamps which is still available here) which I have coloured with the following Promarkers -
  • James - warm grey 1, warm grey 2 and warm grey 3
  • tinsel - berry red, ruby and crimson
  • star - tulip yellow, sunflower and gold
  • present - tulip yellow, sunflower, gold, pine, holly, ivory and pastel beige
  • baubles - berry red, ruby, crimson, sunflower, gold, pine, holly and blender pen
  • ground - warm grey 3 and warm grey 4
  • sky - pastel blue

I cut the image out using Spellbinder's Stately circles, inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink and matted onto a Spellbinder's Grand decorative circles using another of the papers from the pad. I then attached it to the card base with glue gel.

I stamped a sentiment from LOTV's Christmas wishes sentiment set, cut it out using Spellbinder's Stately circles and inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink. I attached it to the card base with glue gel and then added a bakers twine bow and a Christmas tree charm (both from the Ribbon Girl) to the top of the sentiment.
To finish I added some green pearls (from the Ribbon Girl) to the corners.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
