Christmas candle

Hello folks

Yes it's Friday again - the weeks are flying by aren't they. And as Christmas is racing towards us today's card is another Christmas one -
I began by covering a 6 inch square card blank with a piece of red Bazzil cardstock (wow this is good stuff. It feels beautiful) and then I cut a square using Tonic's Happy birthday die set (the outer 2 dies only) and a paper from LOTV's Twas the night paper pad. I attached some lace and Christmas ribbon to the centre of the card and then attached the whole thing to the card base.
The image is Christmas candle from LOTV which is one of the retiring stamps so you will need to be quick if you want this one. I have coloured it with the following Promarkers -
  • skin - satin, blush, dusky pink and coral
  • hair - terracotta and burnt umber
  • coat - berry red, ruby, crimson and cool grey 1
  • scarf - apple cider, herb green, pine and holly
  • gloves - pear green and apple cider
  • boots - saddle brown and burnt sienna
  • candle and candle stick - ivory, pastel beige, saddle brown, burnt sienna, tulip yellow, mustard, sunflower, gold and orange
  • snow - icicle
  • sky - pastel blue
I cut the image out with Spellbinder's floral ovals, inked whilst still in the die with tumbled glass distress ink and added lots of glitter to her hood and the snow. I then made a frame using Spellbinder's floral ovals and a Spellbinder's oval nestie. I attached the frame to the image and then added it to the card base with glue gel.
Then I cut a Die'sire holly from green core'dinations, attached it to the card and added some flowers from the Ribbon Girl. To finish I added some red pearls (also from the Ribbon Girl).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
