A very late post again tonight - this is getting to be a regular Sunday night thing. At this time of night I get to sit down having got everything ready for school next week, watch a bit of Downton and get on the laptop to update my blog.
The challenge this week over at Allsorts is White Christmas. This was a tough one and I'm still not sure if I like it or not. I decided if I couldn't use colour I would use texture instead so out came my embossing folders and white centura pearl card. This is the result -
Sorry about the blue tinge to the photo - this was also a tough one to photograph - and this was the only way we could get it to show all the white properly.
I started off with a piece of white stamping card and I stamped a Wild rose bauble stamp with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder (it has come out more cream than white). I cut the image out with Spellbinder's elegant labels 4.
I then cut out the other die in the set from white centura pearl and I also embossed a piece of the same card using Spellbinder's holiday magic folder. I then matted and layered the card as shown. To finish I added some flowers from The Ribbon Girl (yes there is a little bit of green on the flowers).
Again apologies for the blue tint on the photo.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge -
